The Optima DA8-20IR is a mains powered eight way TV distribution amplifier (often known as an aerial amplifier) with two inputs (UHF and VHF). It is designed to boost and distribute radio and TV signals to up to 8 televisions/radios around the home from one location (e.g. loft).

The Optima DA8-20IR combines TV and radio signals and feeds them to face plates or TVs located in the rooms that you want to extend TV to. You can connect to up to 8 other viewing locations around home with this distribution amplifier.

The Optima DA8-20IR distribution amplifier is particularly good for long cable runs as it has a variable gain the maximum of which is a higher than usual boost of 20dB.

The Optima DA8-20IR is ideal for use with Sky as it supports IR return path. This means that with a Sky Eye, Magic Eye device such as the SLx Link you can control a Sky box from any of the other rooms.
The amplifier is fitted with a filter to eliminate interference from the 4G mobile phone network.
