The Celestron Blank Microscope Slides, are thin flat pieces of glass, measuring 25.4 mm x 76.2 mm x 1.0 (1" x 3" x 0.043") and about 1.2 mm thick. They are used to hold objects for examination under a microscope. Typically the object you want to view in more detail is placed or secured ("mounted") on the slide, and then both are inserted together in the microscope for viewing. This arrangement allows several slide-mounted objects to be quickly inserted and removed from the microscope, labelled, transported, and stored in appropriate slide cases or folders.
These Celestron Blank Microscope Slides come in a box and are made with premium quality glass, giving you only the finest views of the objects you are looking at. The glass is precision ground and polished with super smooth edges and come in a quantity of 72, therefore giving you plenty of slides on which to hold the many objects you want to see in more detail.
